Volunteering means being surrounded by passionate and exciting people.
It is also a good way to develop new skills: communication, computing, interaction with members... it is also a world that is not polluted by money.
For me, it is the place where I can be creative, and grow in service to others, simply for the pleasure of allowing people to exercise their passion in the best conditions.
Archer beginning in 2011, I started to develop a particular practice of archery: instinctive archery.
I started with a long English bow in 2012, before acquiring a Korean bow, four years before these bows arrived in France. This instinctive practice is a medical practice based on breathing. I try as much as possible to encourage all archers to get involved, being a health-based approach, than competition.
In 2016, I joined the Executive Committee, to modernize the web infrastructure, by building a website, a cloud server, professional email & mailing lists, as well as tools specifically developed for the Association.
Writer for the Vivre à Villebon, I am in charge of the valorisation of the Association within our commune.
Computer graphic designer in my spare time, I have modernized the logo of the Association, to be more in line with the new visual communication of our department and commune.
So it was only natural that I applied to the Vice Presidency in 2017, to continue my commitment to the Archers. This has allowed me to modernize our armory, and offer a more pleasant sporting environment to our members.
Neurofeedback arrives in France, under the impulse of the Neurosens Institute.
AFBN is committed to training therapists, all in accordance with scientific literature, to help all practitioners.
I have assisted in the development of the Association's constitution, to ensure that it remains an evidence-based association. I am also in charge of setting up the technological means, both for internal and external communication.
Finally, I intend to bring my scientific expertise to all the therapists, sometimes a little lost by the mass of information that Science produces every year.
I discovered the Association as a patient, being in Spain to perform the myofasciotomy of the Russian surgeon I. Nazarov.
The Association's infrastructure, based on innovative educational therapies for cerebral palsy patients, fascinated me and I proposed to join the Scientific Committee.
They are the ones who paid for my Neurofeedback training, and we are now continuing the fight to have our approach recognized by French Social Security.
Wake Up is the young movement from the Plum Village. This Buddhist monastery proposes to practice mindfulness meditation.
The approach of Buddhist Master Thich Nhat Hanh perfectly suited me as a scientist: no esotericism, supernatural and other religion. Simply a practice of meditation based on one's own experience.
A very good training center, for those who desire a scientific approach to mindfulness meditation.
When I returned to Paris in 2013, I co-founded Wake Up Paris, to continue the practice in the Capital. And installed all the web infrastructure to allow this community to live.
I joined the international Wake Up movement, as a small Ambassador, to help the movement get known.
Due to lack of time, I am no longer involved in this wonderful adventure, but mindfulness meditation is a wonderful daily tool, which Wake Upers transmit with passion and volunteerism.
The Internet is a great place to share. To prevent it from being eaten by capitalism as in the real world: share!
Whether on my blog, in the Zétique community, on Twitter, I try to contribute to the development of the Internet.
An Internet built by its users is an Internet that will remain the property of its users!
